Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference 2026 to Be Held in Surat

The third edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) will take place on 1st and 2nd May 2026 at AURO University, Surat, with a focus on South Gujarat. Alongside the conference, the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition (VGRE) is scheduled from 1st to 5th May 2026 at the same venue.
The exhibition will be spread across 12,000 square metres and will operate daily from 10 am to 6 pm. The event will include activities such as Reverse Buyer Seller Meets, Udyami Mela, and vendor development programmes. Dedicated stalls will be set up for Tribal Haat, women artisans, award-winning artisans, and startups. The exhibition will also include participation from MSMEs, handicrafts, and cottage industries, facilitating engagement with market opportunities. The VGRC will cover sectors including textiles, gems and jewellery, agro and food processing, chemicals and petrochemicals, and tourism. Companies and institutions from these sectors are expected to participate in the conference.
Details from previous editions indicate that the exhibition for the Kutch and Saurashtra Region, held alongside the Rajkot conference and inaugurated on 11th January 2026, included over 450 exhibitors. These comprised around 160 MSMEs, approximately 60 startups and innovators, about 62 artisans associated with handicrafts and handlooms, and 70 stalls from central and state government departments.
Earlier, the first VGRE held in Mehsana for North Gujarat recorded participation from over 410 exhibitors, including more than 170 MSMEs, across an area of 18,000 square metres. The event featured six thematic pavilions and recorded more than 80,000 visitors.
The South Gujarat edition of VGRC is being आयोजित on the occasion of Gujarat Sthapana Divas. As per the release, the conference scheduled on 1st May aligns with the vision of “Viksit Bharat@2047,” focusing on regional development, investment promotion, and strengthening global linkages across sectors.
