Vandewiele to Unveil Integrated Carpet & Textile Innovations at ICFE 2026

At the 2026 Istanbul Carpet & Flooring Expo (ICFE), Vandewiele Group will showcase an extensive lineup of innovations that span the full textile value chain. Covering spinning, weaving, tufting, carpet manufacturing and digital finishing, the Group demonstrates how integrated technologies can enhance efficiency, product quality and sustainability across every stage of carpet and textile production.
As a leading global machinery provider, Vandewiele continues to introduce solutions that enable manufacturers to optimize processes, elevate design capabilities and adopt smarter, greener production models. Guided by the philosophy “Textile Innovations Together,” the company brings its businesses and technologies under one connected framework — offering a seamless journey from yarn creation to finished carpet.
BOOST CARPET PRODUCTION WITH RCF – HIGH-SPEED CARPET WEAVING WITH FAST CREEL

The RCF high-speed carpet weaving machine delivers new levels of efficiency, now operating at speeds of up to 225 RPM.
Fitted with the advanced Fast Creel, the system allows bobbin changes to occur while the machine remains in operation. This eliminates downtime, maximizes productivity and ensures smoother workflow throughout the weaving process.
Fast Creel replaces traditional pile droppers and attached weights, enabling faster creel changes and full use of each bobbin. Automatic threading and optimized bobbin handling reduce the operator’s workload, while Vandewiele’s tight-end detection system safeguards yarn quality and minimizes breakages.
THE RESULT?
• Less waste
• Superior carpet quality
• Higher production speed
• Unmatched operational flexibility
Choosing RCF equipped with Fast Creel provides manufacturers with a weaving platform that is faster, more adaptable and capable of producing high-quality carpets at top speed.
ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SPEED & PRECISION WITH HST – HIGH-SPEED TUFTING TECHNOLOGY

Vandewiele continues to advance tufting technology with the High Speed Tuft (HST) platform, first introduced at ITMA 2023. The HST remains the fastest and most technologically advanced tufting machine on the market, delivering up to 2500 RPM for loop pile and 2000 RPM for cut pile carpets.
A major advantage of the HST is its fully digital motion control. Servo-driven systems capture and store machine settings as design parameters, allowing immediate automated adjustments when switching patterns. This greatly reduces changeover time and ensures highly consistent tufting quality.
The HST also offers enhanced design flexibility with features such as the Individual Looper/Hook Drive and optional sliding needlebars, which support complex design execution with precision.

To further increase reliability, Vandewiele incorporates the Vandewiele Tufting Sensor (VTS) for real-time yarn break detection. Developed internally using piezoelectric technology, VTS offers high accuracy with a modular design and integrates directly into the machine’s HMI — eliminating the need for any additional hardware.
CARPET WEAVING WITH HCE3+1500 – ADVANCED HANDLOOK PERFORMANCE & EFFICIENCY

Vandewiele’s HCE3+1500 introduces new capabilities for manufacturers focused on handlook carpet styles. The system sets a higher standard for both creative and technical performance with features that include:
• Unmatched Design Freedom – new binding options and seamless pole transitions
• Creative Precision – ability to “write” directly in the carpet with no mirror effect
• Cost & Material Savings – reduced yarn consumption enabled by ground effects
• Enhanced Productivity – improved efficiency in pointing cors across the pile surface
Combining robust engineering with advanced creative tools, the HCE3+1500 enables production of handlook carpets that are visually refined, more resource-efficient and optimized for higher output.
AIR-JET EXCELLENCE WITH SAVIO LYBRA SMARTSPINNER® – WHERE SPINNING PERFORMANCE MEETS CARPET INNOVATION

At ICFE 2026, Savio Macchine Tessili will present the Lybra Smartspinner®, reinforcing its leadership in spinning innovation. Designed to deliver superior flexibility, high efficiency and consistent yarn quality, Lybra sets a new technological benchmark for the air-jet spinning category.
Savio’s role within Vandewiele brings added value: as part of an integrated technology family, Lybra supports a complete production chain — from yarn creation to carpet finishing. Vandewiele’s unified portfolio ensures that spinning, weaving, tufting and finishing technologies work in synergy, giving manufacturers an efficient and coherent pathway from yarn to finished flooring product.
This collaboration demonstrates how integration across the value chain can help the industry respond to global priorities:
• Efficiency and quality: Lybra’s stable yarn performance benefits downstream weaving and carpet processes.
• Sustainability: Air-jet spinning reduces energy consumption and improves resource efficiency.
• Value chain synergy: Vandewiele’s connected ecosystem merges spinning excellence with advanced carpet technologies.
By positioning Lybra within the broader Vandewiele offering, Savio highlights how coordinated innovation can shape a more competitive, resilient and sustainable textile future.
Visitors to ICFE will see firsthand how this combined platform delivers advanced machinery alongside a vision for a connected, environmentally aligned carpet industry.
Vandewiele welcomes visitors to the International Carpet and Flooring Expo in Istanbul, where the global flooring industry gathers to explore new technologies.
