Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Assam's handloom and textile minister, visited the different sericulture initiatives in Udalguri district on Tuesday. The minister paid a visit to the Udalguri district administration and the Bodoland Territorial Region's sericulture department (BTR) He toured the district's eri and mulberry farms, eri cocoon bank, muga silk worm raising, silk weaving, reeling, and spinning facilities. After Karbi Anglong, the Bodo belt is Assam's greatest producer of eri silk.
