UP Government Plans Six Textile Parks Across 1,500 Acres to Boost Investment and Employment

Projects spanning nearly 1,500 acres aim to attract over ₹10,000 crore in investments and support Uttar Pradesh's $1 trillion economy goal.
The Uttar Pradesh government is developing six textile parks covering almost 1,500 acres to position the state as a major textile and garment hub in South Asia.
According to the plan, the six projects are expected to bring in investments of more than ₹10,000 crore while creating large-scale job opportunities. The initiative is also intended to support Uttar Pradesh's goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
A key component of the plan is a mega textile park proposed across 1,162 acres on the border of Lucknow and Hardoi districts. The project is being developed under the PM Mega Integrated Textile and Apparel (PM Mitra) scheme.
The six textile park projects together form part of the state's broader effort to expand textile manufacturing infrastructure and encourage industrial investment.
