Universal Fibers Appoints Jay Brown as President

Universal Fibers has confirmed that Jay Brown has been appointed President, effective May 1, 2026. The company noted that he joins at a time when it is advancing innovation and expanding its global commercial presence.

Brown has over 35 years of experience in the flooring, fiber, and building materials sectors. During his career, he has held several senior leadership roles, including President and Chief Operating Officer at Bentley Mills and Vice President of Supply Chain at Interface. Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Vice President at Happy Floors, where he worked on strategic growth initiatives and customer engagement.

In his new role, Brown will oversee Universal Fibers’ global operations, working across manufacturing facilities located in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His responsibilities will also include supporting the company’s expansion within the flooring sector.
