UNIQLO F.RISSO 2026 Knitwear Capsule Collection to Launch on October 30

“Made for Dreaming” collection features 3D-knit designs, two-tone colour blocking and merino wool blend sweaters

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced the launch of its “UNIQLO F.RISSO” 2026 Knitwear Capsule Collection, available from October 30, 2026. Following the Summer 2026 capsule line, the second collaboration with designer Francesco Risso combines his free-spirited design approach with modern silhouettes, bold colours and 3D knit technology.

The collection, themed “Made for Dreaming,” explores the relationship between machine precision and the distinctive textures associated with handmade knitwear, translating Risso’s design perspective into everyday clothing.

Commenting on the collection, Francesco Risso said:

“The fascination was never with technology alone, but with the paradox of its possibilities: to employ machines capable of engineering a seamless piece of knitwear, only to pursue the irregularity, depth and almost primitive intimacy of something made by hand. There was a time when texture was the inevitable consequence of human touch, when every imperfection carried the evidence of its maker. I wanted to reclaim that memory through the most advanced means of production — to make the future speak the language of the past, without nostalgia or imitation. That tension between the absolute precision of the machine and the irreducible beauty of the human hand became perhaps the most compelling proposition of this collection.”

Genderless Knitwear with Sculptural Silhouettes

The “Made for Dreaming” collection features genderless styles drawing inspiration from vintage knitwear. Signature two-tone colour blocking adds visual contrast to the designs, while the silhouettes are intended to express individual style.

The garments use 3D knit technology, which creates a garment as one piece. This construction enables a smooth, continuous finish with a defined silhouette and sculptural shapes.

The knitwear range includes turtleneck, mock neck and polo sweaters made from an ultra-fine merino wool blend designed to be lightweight yet warm. Voluminous V-neck and boat neck styles are also part of the collection.

HEATTECH socks and beanies are available as accessories for winter wardrobes. However, the beanies and socks are not made using 3D knit technology. Some parts of the products are sewn for reinforcement and for attaching labels and other components.

The collection will be available from Friday, October 30, 2026, through select UNIQLO stores and the brand’s online store, uniqlo.com. The full product lineup will be offered at the selected stores and online.

The collection comprises seven items, combining knitwear silhouettes with accessories designed to complement winter outfits.
