Twelve Expert Workshops at RMC 2025 to Advance Green Innovation

Hürth, July 2, 2025:
The Renewable Materials Conference 2025, scheduled from 22–24 September in Siegburg/Cologne, Germany, will feature twelve interactive expert workshops. These sessions will run alongside the main conference programme of 75 presentations and 20 panel discussions and will allow participants to engage in both formats without schedule conflict.
Organised by nova-Institut GmbH, RMC 2025 focuses on replacing fossil carbon with renewable sources—such as biomass, CO₂, and recycling—to advance a sustainable circular economy. Over 500 international attendees are expected to join the event.
Day 1 Workshops (Sept 22):
- Holcim (DE) will explore CO₂ monetization through upcoming business opportunities.
- Syklo (FI) introduces a circular concept for turning waste into low-carbon biocomposites.

Day 3 Workshops (Sept 24):
- TNO (NL) explores how AI supports sustainable polymer design.
- nova-Institut discusses renewable carbon's role in LCA methodologies.
- A closing policy session titled “Facilitating Change” will feature experts from the Dutch Climate Ministry, Südzucker, and nova.
The event will also feature the Renewable Material of the Year 2025 award, sponsored by Covestro, with six shortlisted innovations. Registration by August 17 offers a 10% early bird discount.
