Investors Line Up For Textile Park In Indore

While opening a massive textile park here, he noted that additional investment in other areas of the state is anticipated to total nearly 8,675 crore.

Under the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) concept, the central government has previously declared its intention to establish seven mega textile parks. This was approved with a 4,445 crore budget for a seven-year term ending in 2027–28.

“Dhar is largely an Adivasi (tribal) district in Madhya Pradesh. The decision to build the Dhar PM MITRA park was made jointly by the federal and state governments, Goyal said.While opening a massive textile park here, he noted that additional investment in other areas of the state is anticipated to total nearly 8,675 crore.

The central government had made plans to establish seven mega textile parks under the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) scheme. This was approved with an outlay of ₹4,445 crore for a period of seven years up to 2027-28.
“Several governments came but no one was sensitive towards the problems of this area. But this government is considerate of the problems faced in backward areas. The park will help create employment and will help boost the profits earned by farmers.”
In addition to Madhya Pradesh, these parks are being established in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh.
