Budhni, Madhya Pradesh, June 19, 2025 – In observance of Environment Week 2025, Trident Group—one of India’s foremost business conglomerates and global textile leaders—undertook impactful community and sustainability initiatives aligned with the global theme “Ending Plastic Pollution.” This initiative reaffirmed the company’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship, inclusive growth, and responsible business practices.

Central to the week's observance was the Nirmal Narmada Abhiyaan, a large-scale clean-up mission carried out at Berkheri Ghat in Budhni. More than 300 Trident employees and volunteers took part in the riverbank restoration, collectively removing over 15 tons of plastic waste from the sacred Narmada River. The initiative underscored Trident’s focus on ecological restoration and environmental awareness through community participation.

To further its mission of nurturing a green future, Trident also launched a tree plantation campaign under the leadership of Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus, and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Chief - Strategic Marketing, joined by senior executives and employees. The initiative is part of a broader pledge to plant 20,000 trees, supporting biodiversity, enhancing local greenery, and contributing to a resilient ecosystem.

In line with its grassroots approach to sustainability, Trident distributed reusable cotton fabric bags to local residents. This gesture aimed to encourage communities to adopt eco-friendly alternatives and reduce reliance on single-use plastics—driving awareness and behavior change at the household level.

Recognizing the role of the younger generation in shaping a sustainable future, Trident conducted interactive programs for school children themed on “Ending Plastic Pollution.” These sessions focused on building environmental responsibility through education, empowerment, and early action.

These initiatives represent more than one-time activities—they reflect Trident’s integrated sustainability philosophy. Whether it’s using wheat-straw-based paper, adopting clean energy, embracing circular textile practices, or working towards zero waste manufacturing, Trident continues to redefine what responsible industrial growth looks like.

As Environment Week 2025 concludes, Trident celebrates the collective efforts of its teams and communities, reinforcing the belief that small consistent actions by many can create lasting impact and shape a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
