Trident Group Showcases Innovation-Led Growth Strategy and R&D Investments at Bharat Tex 2026

Company highlights dedicated Innovation Cell, over INR 100 crore investment in R&D, design collaborations, and retail expansion during Bharat Tex 2026.

Trident Group outlined its innovation-led growth strategy at Bharat Tex 2026, highlighting its focus on manufacturing excellence, research and development, digitalization and sustainable value creation. Under the theme ‘The Expression of Living,’ the company presented developments across home textiles, product innovation and design collaborations.

Trident Group, a global conglomerate and a leading company in the home textiles industry, presented its future growth strategy at Bharat Tex 2026. The company said its roadmap is centred on innovation, manufacturing excellence and sustainable value creation, with this year's showcase themed ‘The Expression of Living,’ reflecting its approach to textile innovation, contemporary design and evolving consumer lifestyles.

The company stated that, following a resilient FY27 performance despite global market headwinds, it is focusing on maximizing the potential of its existing manufacturing assets, expanding digitalization across operations and strengthening its research and development capabilities. Trident reported maintaining a stable revenue base during FY27.

As part of its innovation strategy, Trident has established a dedicated Innovation Cell and invested over INR 100 crore in advanced research and development and environmental performance initiatives. The company said its innovation portfolio is supported by 17+ patents and 147 trademarks, with ongoing work in advanced fibre blends, functional finishes and high-performance yarns for premium and niche market applications.

Speaking at Bharat Tex 2026, Padma Shri Dr. Rajinder Gupta, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Chairman Emeritus Trident Group, said:

During the exhibition, myTrident, the group's home décor brand, introduced its upcoming festive collections along with new home décor ranges. The company also showcased Torani for myTrident, marking Karan Torani's first home décor collaboration, alongside the second edition of Shivan & Narresh for myTrident. According to the company, these collaborations reflect its continued focus on design-led collections that combine contemporary creativity, Indian craftsmanship and cultural storytelling.
