Tom Daley Unveils Woolmark-Certified Knit Kit Collection

Olympic diver and entrepreneur Tom Daley has partnered with The Woolmark Company as its latest ambassador to introduce a new Woolmark-certified knit kit, aiming to inspire more people to embrace the joys of knitting. Daley began knitting during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as a personal hobby, which quickly gained widespread attention and developed into a deep appreciation for wool fibres.

Motivated by the encouragement he received from the knitting community, Daley established Made With Love, a brand celebrating knitting and crocheting as creative and relaxing crafts.

In the past six months, Daley and his team at Made With Love collaborated with UK-based yarn manufacturer Laxtons to trial Merino wool yarns. The result is a pastel-themed, Woolmark-certified knit kit, featuring three original patterns—a jumper, vest, and hat—crafted from high-quality Merino wool.

These knit kits cater to both seasoned crafters and beginners and come in a selection of seven soft colour options: Lilac Snow, Lemon Zest, Delicate Blue, Lime Cream, Pale Peach, Candy Pink, and Natural Cream.

"The knit kit brings some of my favourite pieces to life using 100% Merino wool,” says Daley. “The wool fibre’s natural properties make it perfect for comfort, breathability, and warmth. It’s a natural, renewable fibre I’ve always trusted and loved, and I can’t wait to see how it inspires others on their knitting journey.”
