The rise in raw material prices has a negative impact on clothing accessory manufacturers

According to the Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA), accessories and packaging companies fall within the SME category, yet the majority of them have not gotten loans from the government's Tk20,000 crore stimulus package. Owners of accessories claim they are losing money since they are importing at a greater rate but not receiving a fair price for their items.
