Bear Neo Introduces Water-Efficient Denim Manufacturing
India – National, September 10, 2026: The Bear House is introducing Bear Neo as an approach to denim manufacturing that focuses on reducing water consumption while retaining the characteristics associated with everyday denim.
The brand states that Bear Neo uses around 90% less water than conventional denim during factory production. The collection is intended to combine the manufacturing process with considerations of style, comfort, durability and everyday versatility.
Collection Features Multiple Denim Fits and Washes
Bear Neo includes baggy, straight and contemporary fits, offered across a selection of colours and washes.
The collection is designed for everyday dressing, with styles intended to work across relaxed casual outfits and more elevated looks.
The Bear House Explains the Manufacturing Approach
“With Bear Neo, we wanted to challenge a convention that has existed in denim for years: the amount of water required to make it. By rethinking the manufacturing process, we have been able to reduce water consumption by around 90% compared to conventional denim, without compromising on the comfort, durability or design our customers expect from The Bear House. For us, innovation is about making everyday products meaningfully better and Bear Neo is an important step in that direction,” said Tanvi & Harsh Somaiya, co-founders, The Bear House India.
Environmental Passport Provides Product Information
As part of the collection, The Bear House has introduced an Environmental Passport, which can be accessed through a QR code on the product.
The passport provides consumers with information about the product and its environmental credentials, offering greater visibility into how the denim has been made.
Sustainability Integrated Into Product Development
The Bear House said the initiative reflects its approach of combining responsible manufacturing with contemporary fashion. Bear Neo is aimed at the modern young gentleman while retaining a focus on aesthetics, comfort and performance.
The brand is also exploring the use of smarter manufacturing processes, technology, materials and greater transparency as part of its broader product innovation efforts in everyday menswear.
