TFI – Textile Fairs India Presents Lifetime Achievement Award to Dinesh J Hinduja

TFI – Textile Fairs India conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award on Shri. Dinesh J Hinduja at an event held at the Trade Centre, KTPO, Whitefield, Bengaluru. The recognition highlighted his long-standing contribution to the garment and textile sector and his role in Bengaluru’s development as a centre for fashion manufacturing and exports.

TFI – Textile Fairs India honoured Shri. Dinesh J Hinduja with the Lifetime Achievement Award at a ceremony held at the Trade Centre, KTPO, Whitefield, Bengaluru, on 10th February 2026. The event was attended by industry leaders, designers, entrepreneurs and professionals from across the textile and apparel sector.

The award acknowledged Shri. Hinduja’s role in shaping Bengaluru’s textile ecosystem through his leadership at Gokaldas Exports. His work contributed to strengthening India’s position in the global apparel supply chain and supported the development of manufacturing infrastructure in the region. His initiatives also focused on employment generation and skills development within the garment industry.

Shri. Dinesh J Hinduja attended the ceremony with his wife, Mrs. Nalini Hinduja, his children and their spouses, and his partner and brother, Mr. Rajendra Hinduja. The gathering included senior industry professionals and members of the fashion and manufacturing community associated with the city’s growth over the past four decades.

After receiving the award, Shri. Dinesh J Hinduja said, “I accept this Lifetime Achievement Award with immense gratitude and responsibility. Textiles in India are not just an industry—they are livelihoods, heritage, and nation-building. Being able to create global opportunities while generating employment for over 50,000 people has been the greatest achievement of my journey.”
