Textiles Recycling Expo 2026 to Focus on Industrial-Scale Textile Circularity Solutions

Brussels event to bring together global brands, recyclers, policymakers, and technology providers across the textile recycling value chain

Textiles Recycling Expo 2026 will take place on 24–25 June at Brussels Expo in Belgium, bringing together organisations involved in textile circularity, recycling infrastructure, and material innovation. The second edition of the event will focus on implementation, collaboration, and scalable industrial solutions for textile recycling. The conference programme will examine practical approaches across manufacturing, logistics, recycling technologies, and policy development.

As the textile industry faces increasing pressure to expand circular systems, improve recycling infrastructure, and respond to changing regulations, Textiles Recycling Expo 2026 will bring together companies and organisations working on textile recycling and circularity solutions.

The event is scheduled to be held on 24–25 June at Brussels Expo, Belgium. Organisers state that this year’s programme will focus on implementation and industrial-scale solutions rather than broader discussions about the importance of textile recycling.

The conference will feature speakers from organisations and brands including On, H&M, DHL, Volkswagen, Shein, Textile Exchange, Fashion for Good, United Nations Environment Programme, EURATEX, the European Environment Agency, the European Commission, and other industry participants.

A key theme across the programme is the shift from pilot projects toward commercially scalable systems for textile circularity.

Maximilian Köhnlein, Senior Specialist – Apparel Material Innovation at On, will participate in discussions on stretch, biobased, and recycled elastane. The sessions will address recycling challenges linked to blended fibres and material performance requirements in high-performance apparel, as well as the growing focus on integrating recyclability at the product design stage.

Representatives from H&M will also contribute to discussions related to integrating recycled fibres, increasing demand for next-generation materials, and responding to Europe’s evolving regulatory framework. Julie-Marlène Pelissier is scheduled to participate in these sessions.

Logistics and reverse supply chains will form another area of focus during the event. Rebecca Howes from DHL will discuss textile collection systems, consolidation processes, and waste flow management as circular systems continue to expand.

Cross-sector collaboration will also be addressed within the programme. Dr. Thomas Große from Volkswagen will discuss automotive applications for recycled textiles and the role non-fashion sectors may play in supporting end markets for recycled materials.

Gail Orton from Shein will participate in discussions focused on policy, producer responsibility, and future regulatory frameworks related to textile circularity in Europe.

Alongside the conference programme, the event will feature more than 160 exhibitors presenting developments in textile collection, sorting systems, recycling technologies, fibre regeneration, traceability systems, AI-driven automation, and circular material innovation.

Additional features at the event include the Textiles Recycling Awards, the Reju VIP Lounge, an expanded Industry Alliance Hub, networking activities, and access to Future Fabrics Expo, which will take place alongside the event.

Registration for the event is free for attendees.
