The Textiles Recycling Expo has announced the launch of the Textiles Recycling Awards, a new initiative dedicated to honouring excellence in textile recycling, innovation, and sustainability. The awards will debut during the 2026 event in Brussels, celebrating pioneers advancing circular practices across the textile value chain.

The organisers of the Textiles Recycling Expo have officially unveiled the Textiles Recycling Awards, a new feature of next year’s event taking place from 24–25 June 2026 at Brussels Expo, Belgium.

The awards are designed to recognise outstanding innovation, leadership, and measurable contributions to the advancement of circular textile systems. They will celebrate individuals, companies, and collaborative initiatives that are shaping the next generation of textile recycling and sustainable material use.

The Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 25 June 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Conference Theatre and will bring together international industry professionals to celebrate achievements transforming the global textile ecosystem. Entries for the awards will close on 13 March 2026.

Award Categories include:

Retailer of the Year – Honouring retailers that excel in implementing circular fashion models.
Product of the Year – Celebrating innovative textile products designed for recyclability and sustainability.
Textile Collection & Sorting Award – Recognising outstanding collection programs and sorting operations with measurable environmental impact.
Textile Recycling Project of the Year – Highlighting initiatives that scale textile recycling capacity through technology or collaboration.
Innovation in Recycling Technology Award – Acknowledging breakthroughs in machinery, processes, or systems that enhance recycling performance and efficiency.
Rising Star Award – Celebrating emerging leaders and changemakers in textile reuse and recycling innovation.
