Textiles Observer Sept 2025 Highlights Policy & Recycling

The latest edition of The Textiles Observer, a free publication launched earlier this year by the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), is now available. The 43-page issue opens with an editorial by Kanwar Usman, ICAC Head of Textiles and Editor of the Textiles Observer, who spotlights the upcoming Global Cotton and Textiles Investment Summit, scheduled for June 29 – July 1, 2026, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

This edition features three in-depth articles:

  • Toward Standardized Classing by Marinus (René) van der Sluijs, Principal Consultant at Textile Technical Services and Chair of the CSITC (Committee on Commercial Standardization of Instrument Testing of Cotton).
