Shri Pabitra Margherita, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Textiles, is set to inaugurate the 73rd Edition of the India International Garment Fair (IIGF) on 1st July 2025 (Tuesday). The event will also be addressed by the Minister and attended by Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Hon’ble Member of Parliament; Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Minister of Industries, Food & Supplies, Environment and Forest & Wild Life, Government of Delhi; and Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary Textiles, Government of India.

Commenting on this edition of the fair, Shri Sudhir Sekhri, Chairman AEPC and IGFA, stated, “IIGF has grown into one of the most prominent international garment fairs of global standard and scale. This edition aims to capitalize on India’s rising momentum in export growth. With India advancing in sustainable manufacturing, global brands are increasing their sourcing from the country.”

Despite global disruptions, India’s ready-made garment (RMG) exports witnessed a 12.8% cumulative growth, amounting to USD 2,882.9 million for April–May 2025-26, compared to the same period in 2024-25, the Chairman added.

The 73rd edition focuses on showcasing the latest apparel trends aligned with the demands of the European Union, USA, and other Western markets.

Chairman Sekhri further explained that IIGF supports MSMEs in gaining access to global markets, allowing them to present their latest fashion lines to international buyers, which, in turn, strengthens buyer connections and drives sectoral growth.

The Spring/Summer 2026 edition of IIGF will include 361 exporters across a display area of 9,375 sq. mtrs, with participation from 12 Indian states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Haryana.

Buyers from 79 countries will participate, including:

  • North America: USA, Canada
  • Latin America: Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina
  • Europe: UK, Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands, Turkey
  • Asia: Japan, UAE, Thailand, Israel, Kuwait, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia
  • Oceania: Australia
  • Africa: South Africa
  • Eurasia: Russia

Two daily fashion shows will take place from 1–3 July 2025 in Hall No. 1, featuring current trends and collections.

Launched in 1988, India International Garment Fair (IIGF) is a bi-annual trade exhibition, hosted in January/February for Autumn/Winter collections and June/July for Spring/Summer collections.

IIGF is jointly organized by AEPC and IGFA, and supported by:
