Texpreneurs 2025 Meet Celebrates Unity & Innovation

The Texpreneurs community, an expanding network of over 300 textile entrepreneurs, gathered for the Texpreneurs Get-Together Meet 2025 on 14th June at the Otters Club in Mumbai. The evening was filled with inspiration, learning, and meaningful networking, reinforcing the group's mission to uplift the Indian textile industry through collaboration.
The community was founded by Mr. Sharad Tandon, CEO of Standon Consulting, beginning with just 9 members. Over time, it has evolved into a robust ecosystem grounded in mentorship, mutual growth, and a unique no-commercial-angle philosophy, setting it apart in the industry.
Honouring Textile Trailblazers:
One of the key highlights of the evening was the felicitation of five outstanding professionals for their notable contributions and leadership in the textile domain:
- Mr. Pratik Patni – Montek, Ichalkaranji
- Mr. Rohit Sethia – Ginza Industries, Surat
- Mr. Haresh Kumar – Hema Group, Bhiwandi
- Mr. Saurabh – Bhilwara
- Mr. Romil Jain – Founder, Dennis Lingo
These honorees were acknowledged for driving innovation, advancing sustainability, and setting high benchmarks in leadership within the Indian textile sector.
Inspiring Keynote by Finance & IPO Veteran:
The event featured a compelling keynote by Mr. Sunil Dhawan, a textile finance veteran with 30+ years of experience. Currently serving on the board of RSWM Ltd., Mr. Dhawan also played a significant role in guiding Ken Enterprises through its IPO. His insights on financial preparedness, SME growth strategies, and value creation left a lasting impact on the attendees.
A Community for Visionaries:
Beyond celebrations, the gathering served as a platform to reinforce the values of shared growth, integrity in leadership, and forward-thinking. The event format was informal—with no stage and no speeches—fostering authentic conversations, honest experiences, and peer-driven motivation.
Mr. Sharad Tandon, the founder and visionary behind Texpreneurs, shared:
“The future of Indian textiles will be built by collaborative minds, open hearts, and structured thinking. This gathering was a reflection of that spirit.”
He emphasized that Texpreneurs is more than just a group; it’s a movement—created to enable leadership development, strategic clarity, and supportive community building, all while maintaining a non-commercial ethos.
This edition of the Texpreneurs Get-Together embodied that purpose—an evening driven by shared vision, relationship-building, and collective passion for a thriving textile future.
