Texhibition Istanbul 2026 Opens with Over 500 Exhibitors, Spotlight on Innovation, AI and Global Textile Sourcing

10th edition of the textile fair brings together manufacturers, international buyers and technology providers, with new focus areas including SmartTex Hub, Innovation Hub and AI-driven solutions
Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair has opened its 10th edition at the Istanbul Expo Center, running from 9–11 September 2026. The event features more than 500 exhibitors across five halls covering 42,850 square metres, showcasing Türkiye’s textile manufacturing capabilities alongside international brands, buyers and sourcing professionals.
The exhibition presents a broad range of textile products, introduces new international exhibitors from Italy and Japan, and expands its focus on innovation, technical textiles, artificial intelligence and trend forecasting for the upcoming seasons.
More Than 500 Exhibitors Across Five Exhibition Halls
Texhibition Istanbul brings together manufacturers, designers, sourcing specialists, product developers and industry decision-makers seeking production partners and material solutions.
Following its March 2026 edition, which welcomed more than 20,000 professional visitors, including 5,565 international visitors, the September edition places additional emphasis on attracting a carefully selected international audience. Dedicated Business Lounge and B2B Areas have been introduced to facilitate meetings between exhibitors and buyers.
The exhibition layout includes:
- Hall 4: Knitted fabrics
- Halls 5 & 6: Woven fabrics
- Hall 6: Printed fabrics and artificial leather
- Hall 7: Blue Black denim platform
- Hall 8: Yarn, knitting, embroidery, lace and accessories
Trend Areas are located alongside product sections, while the ReValue Stock Hub is positioned in Hall 5. The Innovation Hub and SmartTex Hub (Technical Textiles Hub) are located in the foyer.
International Participation Expands
The fair welcomes four new international textile companies from Italy and Japan:
- CAFISSI S.P.A.
- STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD.
- UNI TEXTILE CO., LTD.
- LANIFICIO BRUNETTO MORGANTI & C. S.P.A.
According to the organisers, CAFISSI and Lanificio Brunetto Morganti strengthen the wool fabric segment, UNI TEXTILE expands the synthetic fabric offering, while STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA adds its fabric portfolio and international sourcing network.
Discussions with additional international exhibitors are ongoing.
Blue Black Denim Platform Returns
The Blue Black platform showcases Türkiye's denim industry through fabric innovations, washing techniques, surface treatments and production approaches.
A dedicated Denim B2B Area enables meetings between manufacturers and international buyers, while trend presentations and industry discussions provide insights into fibre selection, fabric construction, dyeing methods, finishing techniques and product development.
Innovation Hub Highlights Next-Generation Materials
The Texhibition Innovation Hub explores developments in textile technology, materials and design through an interactive exhibition concept.
Creative Direction, Curatorship, Content and Presentation Concept for the Innovation Hub have been developed jointly by Filiz Tunca and Gamze Saraçoğlu.
The Hub presents materials including:
- Hemp
- Bio-microencapsulation
- Thermal regulation technologies
Visitors can access technical data sheets, fabric specifications and Hub Talks explaining new developments in textile research and production.
SmartTex Hub Debuts
Making its first appearance at the event, the SmartTex Hub focuses on technical textiles, showcasing products designed around sustainability, innovation and high-performance applications.
The dedicated area features functional textile solutions alongside advanced technology applications.
AI and Digital Technologies Gain Attention
Artificial intelligence and digital transformation form another major theme of this year's exhibition.
Companies including A.I.T. and Docode are presenting technology-driven solutions that demonstrate the growing role of AI across textile manufacturing and product development.
The technology showcase complements the Innovation Hub by highlighting the integration of materials science, production technologies and design.
Trend Areas Preview Autumn/Winter 2027–2028
The exhibition's Trend Areas are built around the theme:
"Traces of Time – Carrying the Past into the Future."
The concept is presented through four themes:
- Earth
- Water
- Light
- Sky
These themes showcase colour palettes, fabrics, textures and surface developments for the Autumn/Winter 2027–2028 season.
Trend forecasting at the event includes contributions from:
- WGSN
- Fashion Snoops
- Nelly Rodi
- Riccardo Rami Studio, which is conducting a dedicated seminar.
