Techtextil India 2025 Opens, Advancing Functional Textiles

10th edition brings global innovators, policy leaders, and 300+ brands to Mumbai
Techtextil India 2025 has officially opened in Mumbai, uniting 215 exhibitors and major global stakeholders to highlight next-generation solutions in technical textiles, sustainability and circular innovation.
Techtextil India 2025, the leading trade fair for technical textiles, nonwovens and composites organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, opened today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, celebrating its 10th edition. Scheduled from 19–21 November 2025, the event brings together 215 exhibitors, including 100 exhibitors participating for the first time, showcasing innovations across 12 specialised application segments of the textile value chain.
As the technical textiles sector continues to expand rapidly, this edition features a dynamic showcase of 300+ brands, a dedicated Sporttech Pavilion, and a German Pavilion representing 13 brands. Visitors can explore cutting-edge technologies, discover new solutions and build strategic business connections at this significant B2B platform.

Sharing her insights, Guest of Honour, Honourable Smt R Lalitha, IAS, stated:

The opening day recorded strong footfall, active knowledge-sharing and new business discussions as the show positions itself as an essential innovation and networking platform for the sector.
Across three days, Techtextil Symposium will offer deep-dive knowledge sessions on emerging avenues in technical textiles, sustainability, India’s activewear growth, circular value chains, waste-derived fabrics and more.
The expo is supported by major industry associations, including MATEXIL, ITTA, the Department of Textiles (Government of Maharashtra) and the Government of Tamil Nadu as the Partner State.
