Techtextil and Texprocess 2028 to Expand Networking and Business Opportunities Across the Textile Value Chain

Optimised hall layout connects materials, technologies and processing, with early-booking registration rates available until 30 November 2026
Techtextil and Texprocess 2028 will bring industry participants closer together through an exhibition layout designed to strengthen connections across the textile value chain. The two trade fairs will focus on the interfaces between materials, technology and processing, where new applications, innovations and business relationships emerge. The events will take place concurrently in Frankfurt from April 4 to 7, 2028.
Volatile markets, cost pressures and changing supply chains continue to challenge the global textile industry. At the same time, material innovations and technologies such as artificial intelligence are creating opportunities for new applications and business development.
Against this backdrop, collaboration across the value chain remains important. Techtextil and Texprocess will bring together research organisations, technology providers, manufacturers, processors and users from various industries at a single location.
The concurrent organisation of the two trade fairs allows exhibitors to connect with potential partners and explore applications beyond their existing markets. Together, the events cover key stages of textile production and processing.
Visitor figures from the 2026 editions highlight the overlap between the two events. Around 87% of Texprocess trade visitors also attended Techtextil, while 68% of Techtextil visitors took advantage of the offerings at Texprocess. Approximately 80% of exhibitors achieved their trade fair objectives.

Exhibition Layout to Follow the Textile Value Chain
For the 2028 editions, Techtextil and Texprocess are refining the connection between complementary product groups and production processes. The exhibition route will span five hall levels across the western exhibition grounds, following the different stages of textile manufacturing and processing.
The route begins in Hall 8.0 with Techtextil's production technologies before moving through the following areas:
- Hall 12.0: Fibres and yarns, alongside technical textiles and nonwovens.
- Halls 12.0 and 12.1: Technical textiles and nonwovens.
- Hall 11.0: Coated textiles and composites.
- Hall 9.0: Textile auxiliaries and chemicals for different production stages, alongside Performance Apparel Textiles located close to the relevant finishing processes.
- Hall 8.0: The route returns to production technologies, connecting Techtextil's offerings with Texprocess technologies for processing textiles and flexible materials.
This arrangement is intended to create closer links between materials, technologies and processing solutions.
Closer Connections for Exhibitors and Visitors
The integrated layout is designed to make it easier for exhibitors to connect with relevant suppliers, business partners and potential customers.
Trade visitors will be able to identify suitable companies more efficiently and explore related production stages and solutions in their operational context. By bringing complementary sectors closer together, the exhibition layout aims to support networking and business opportunities across the textile value chain.
