technotrans Debuts at Laser World of Photonics China 2026 with Eco-Efficient Cooling Systems

technotrans will participate for the first time in Laser World of Photonics China in Shanghai, expanding its presence in the laser technology sector. At the VDMA stand, the company will present precision cooling systems designed for applications in medical technology, analytics, and semiconductor manufacturing. The showcase will include the PRO300 in-rack cooler series using natural refrigerants.
technotrans is extending its activities in laser technology by exhibiting for the first time at Laser World of Photonics China in Shanghai. The company will focus on thermal management solutions developed for the requirements of Asian high-tech industries, particularly in medical technology, analytical equipment, and semiconductor production. The PRO300 in-rack cooler series, based on natural refrigerants, will be highlighted as a response to increasing demand in China for environmentally oriented production methods.
“The technological requirements in the Asian market are rising rapidly – from laser surgery and analytical devices through to lithography for semiconductor technology. Reliable thermal management is crucial in all fields of application for process reliability,” says Jan Kröger, Managing Director of technotrans systems GmbH. “With our engineering expertise, we offer our customers solutions that ensure maximum temperature accuracy and are precisely adapted to their individual specifications.”
One of the main themes of the trade fair is the integration of technical performance with ecological considerations. technotrans will present the PRO300 in-rack cooler, which offers a cooling capacity ranging from 170 to 4,200 watts and operates with the natural refrigerant R290. The system uses speed-controlled motors to adjust dynamically to load variations, supporting stable temperature control, including for pulsed laser applications. The unit also complies with current standards for digital connectivity.
“As a European manufacturer, we have a strong focus on eco-efficiency,” explains Kröger. “This includes not only energy-efficient operation and the use of natural refrigerants, but also the product design itself: our focus on durability, repairability and full recyclability reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO) for system operators.”
Customer proximity remains a central element of the company’s regional strategy. Under the trade fair theme “Your Local Partner Worldwide”, technotrans will present its production site near Shanghai and its network of sales and service locations across Asia.
According to the company, this regional presence enables shorter delivery routes and faster spare parts supply. Fabian Hille, Sales Director of technotrans systems GmbH, notes: “Especially in Asia, we provide very good service coverage. We understand local requirements and can act quickly and flexibly thanks to our presence on site.”
With its participation in Shanghai, technotrans will be represented at all three major international trade fairs in the sector, alongside events in Munich and San Francisco. The company states that this presence supports its “Ready for Growth 2030” strategy, which targets developments linked to medical technology, digitalisation, and semiconductor manufacturing.
technotrans will exhibit at Laser World of Photonics China 2026 from 18 to 20 March 2026 at the VDMA stand in Hall N4, Stand 4504-5.
