Through the Phase 2 expansion, TechnoSport plans to increase its activewear fabric manufacturing capacity from the current 25 tonnes per day to 40 tonnes per day by the end of FY27.
Commenting on the announcement, Sunil Jhunjhunwala, Co-founder & Managing Director, TechnoSport, said, “Tamil Nadu has been an important part of TechnoSport’s manufacturing journey. As we grow, we believe scale should create value beyond products by generating employment, strengthening manufacturing capabilities and contributing to the wider ecosystem around us. This ₹130 crore investment in Erode represents another important step in that journey. We thank the Government of Tamil Nadu for its continued support and partnership as we build the next phase of TechnoSport’s growth in the state.”
