TechnoSport Opens First Store in Andhra Pradesh


TechnoSport, one of India's fastest-growing activewear brands, has inaugurated its first exclusive brand outlet (EBO) in Andhra Pradesh, setting up shop in Vijayawada. This store marks the 14th EBO across India, aligning with TechnoSport’s ambition to open 50 stores by the end of 2025 as part of its pan-India expansion strategy.
The new 1,800 sq. ft. store, strategically located in Vijayawada’s core, taps into the city’s strong sports culture and its growing fitness community. Renowned for producing national-level talent in badminton, athletics, and rowing, Vijayawada offers TechnoSport a platform to connect with consumers seeking innovative, performance-driven activewear, engineered for Indian climates and fast-paced routines.
To mark the opening, the brand organized ‘High 5 TechnoSport’, a vibrant community fitness fest featuring 5K marathons and cycling events. In collaboration with local groups — Vijayawada Runners Society, Amaravati Bicycle Club, and Capital Cycle Club — the celebration attracted over 250 participants. The day featured T-shirt giveaways, a Zumba warm-up, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
TechnoSport’s ethos centers on innovation and endurance, reflected in its in-house manufacturing and the 'Running Man' logo that symbolizes constant motion. The Vijayawada store presents a modern layout, curating its best-in-class collections — from DURACOOL+ polos and TECHNO DRY joggers to UPF 50+ sun-protective wear, each offering anti-microbial, moisture-wicking, and stretch recovery properties.
This store is part of a larger retail rollout, following recent launches in Bengaluru and Pune, with upcoming outlets in Chennai, Ooty, and Raipur. This move strengthens TechnoSport’s footprint in key fitness and sports hubs nationwide.
