TechnoSport Expands in East India with New EBOs Launch

TechnoSport, India’s fastest-growing activewear brand, has strategically marked Eastern India as its next major growth hub with the launch of two new Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) at Mani Square Mall, Kolkata, and Sentrum Mall, Asansol. This expansion takes TechnoSport’s EBO network to 21 stores across India, representing a significant milestone in its retail journey.

The brand is riding strong momentum, with EBO revenues doubling year-on-year and an impressive 83% conversion rate on footfalls, setting it firmly on track to achieve its ambitious ₹600 crore revenue target for FY 2025-26.

The Kolkata outlet launch was graced by renowned Indian footballer Pritam Kotal, reinforcing TechnoSport’s strong connection to sports and athletes. Spanning 1,714 sq. ft., the store delivers a modern and immersive retail experience, showcasing TechnoSport’s entire range of high-performance activewear tailored for Indian conditions. The launch celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by an energetic Zumba session, setting a festive tone ahead of the Durga Puja season.

In addition to its retail push, TechnoSport is actively generating employment and strengthening the regional economy. The brand’s earlier MoU with the Government of Odisha for a ₹100 crore investment in a cutting-edge activewear manufacturing facility will create over 1,000 jobs and contribute to world-class infrastructure development in the state.

Both new stores offer a sleek, contemporary retail space featuring TechnoSport’s proprietary fabric innovations—Cotflex (4-way stretch and memory), Techno Dry (quick-dry), and Matpiq (soft matte texture)—along with TECHNOCOOL+, TechnoGuard (antimicrobial protection), and UPF 50+ sun protection, ensuring apparel that is durable, hygienic, and performance-ready for workouts and daily wear.
