Taiwan’s textile machinery industry took the spotlight at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025, leading Asia’s shift toward smart and sustainable manufacturing. At the press event titled “Reshaping Asian Manufacturing: Taiwan’s Smart & Sustainable Textile Solutions”, industry leaders showcased how intelligence, innovation, and environmental responsibility are shaping the next generation of textile production.

The event was organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in collaboration with major industry associations, bringing together global media and buyers. Taiwan’s latest developments in AI-driven automation, digital process optimization, and energy-efficient technologies were presented, underscoring its commitment to offering eco-efficient solutions that balance productivity and sustainability for the global textile industry.

Six leading Taiwanese textile machinery companies unveiled cutting-edge innovations that transform knitting, dyeing, and finishing into intelligent, low-carbon manufacturing processes. These solutions enhance precision and resource efficiency, while reflecting Taiwan’s role in promoting a resilient, circular, and climate-conscious supply chain across Asia.

Following the press briefing, each company presented its flagship innovation—demonstrating Taiwan’s shared goal of driving sustainable value creation through technology, responsibility, and partnership.

  • ACME introduced the AM-ICD Intelligent Conveyor Drive High Pressure Constant-Speed Dyeing Machine, the world’s first low-liquor-ratio conveyor dyeing system. Using only a 1:1–1.5 liquor ratio, it reduces water, energy, and chemical use by over 65%, minimizing wastewater and CO₂ emissions. Its constant-speed, low-tension design ensures uniform dyeing, setting a new benchmark in smart, low-carbon dyeing.
  • Copower Technology launched CASMAD, an intelligent system automating the entire dye formulation process—from cleaning and powder feeding to dispensing. Featuring anti-contamination design and RFID-based traceability, CASMAD bridges R&D and production, ensuring precision and scalability for 24/7 smart dyeing operations.
  • KUANS Micro-Auto showcased its Smart Dyeing Analyzer, a real-time AI-powered system that monitors dye bath transparency, color absorption, and fiber response. The analyzer replaces trial-and-error with intelligent control, reducing chemical use and stabilizing quality—recognized with the SME Innovation Award for advancing sustainable dyeing.
  • Asia Kingdom Machinery presented Digital Protect Technology, a digitally controlled tension and pressure system safeguarding delicate fabrics during dyeing. Powered by AI and servo torque control, it prevents deformation and gloss variation, ensuring consistent quality and reducing reprocessing waste.
  • Logic Art Automation unveiled its Dye House Smart Total Solution, the only end-to-end automation platform for dyeing and finishing plants. Integrating auto-dosing, energy management, predictive maintenance, and ERP connectivity, it has been adopted by factories in over 50 countries, including 70% of Adidas’ suppliers, driving global textile digitalization.
  • Pailung Machinery Mill introduced its next-generation electronic jacquard circular knitting machine and Smart Knitting Solution. Featuring AI-driven defect detection, real-time production management, and auto calibration, it reduces setup time from hours to under 30 minutes, while delivering precision, speed, and energy efficiency—marking a breakthrough for smart textile factories.

This collective showcase reaffirmed Taiwan’s leadership in textile innovation, demonstrating how smart technologies and sustainable practices are redefining global manufacturing. From AI-driven dyeing and knitting to automation and resource optimization, Taiwan is setting the standard for eco-smart textile production across Asia and beyond.
