Syensqo to Supply Advanced Materials for U.S. Army’s MV-75 Cheyenne Vertical Lift Aircraft

Composite materials, adhesives and specialty polymers to support critical structural and rotorcraft components in the Future Vertical Lift program.

Syensqo has confirmed its involvement in the U.S. Army’s MV-75 Cheyenne program, supplying advanced composite materials, adhesives and specialty polymers for critical structural and rotorcraft applications. The company’s material solutions are engineered to meet the performance requirements of next-generation vertical lift platforms, including lightweighting, durability and thermal resistance.

The MV-75 Cheyenne platform is being developed by Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. company, and is designed to deliver approximately twice the speed and range of current platforms, with the objective of enhancing operational reach and survivability.

Ryan Ehinger, Senior Vice President and MV-75 Cheyenne Program Director, said:

"MV-75 Cheyenne represents a transformational leap in vertical lift capability, combining speed, range and reliability to meet the evolving needs of modern armed forces. We are pleased for Syensqo to join Team Cheyenne as we deliver high-performing defense systems with the resilience and survivability the Army needs."

Syensqo’s materials portfolio includes composite materials, structural adhesives and specialty polymers intended for use in critical aircraft structures and rotorcraft components.

Rodrigo Elizondo, President Syensqo Composite Materials, said:

"We are proud to support the US Army’s MV-75 Cheyenne program with our advanced materials portfolio, contributing to the development of a new generation of high-performance rotorcraft. Our expertise in lightweight composites and adhesives enables greater efficiency, durability and design flexibility—key enablers for next-generation aerospace innovation."

The MV-75 Cheyenne is a key element of the U.S. Army’s Future Vertical Lift initiative. The platform is designed to fly twice as fast as the current fleet while providing extended operational range, representing an advancement in rotorcraft capability.

Syensqo stated that it will continue working with Bell and other members of Team Cheyenne throughout the aircraft’s development, qualification and future production phases.
