Sunitha Lal Joins Arvind Ltd. as Chief Human Resources Officer

Arvind Ltd., a leading textile-to-technology conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Sunitha Lal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In her new role, Sunitha will collaborate with Arvind’s leadership teams to enhance organizational effectiveness and steer initiatives in talent acquisition, employee development, and retention. Her focus will be on building a people-centric culture that prioritizes employee experience, while strengthening performance management systems to support business agility and strategic execution.

Prior to joining Arvind, Sunitha served as CHRO at Ather Energy for eight years, where she played a key role in shaping the company’s culture and driving its growth into one of India’s prominent electric vehicle manufacturers. Her career includes leadership roles at Matrimony.com, AIG Systems, and Mphasis, where she led initiatives in talent management, organizational development, and HR business strategy.

With over 25 years of diverse HR experience, Sunitha is recognized for her expertise in organizational and leadership development. She holds a Master’s degree in Labour Management and a Diploma in Labour Laws and Administrative Laws. In addition, she is a Group Relations practitioner and has participated in numerous conferences as both member and staff.
