Stäubli to Showcase Advanced Weaving Technologies at ITMA ASIA 2026

Company to Present Jacquard, Weaving Preparation and Technical Textile Solutions for Asian Manufacturers

Stäubli will showcase its weaving technologies and automation solutions at ITMA ASIA 2026, Booth D05 in Hall 3, highlighting applications across denim production, filament fabrics, premium Jacquard weaving and 3D technical textiles. The company’s portfolio covers weaving preparation, shedding systems, Jacquard technology and industrial technical weaving, with a focus on production efficiency, fabric quality and operational reliability.

The company said its solutions are designed to help weaving mills across China and Asia improve productivity, reduce downtime and maintain consistent quality in high-volume production environments.

Weaving Preparation Systems

Stäubli will present two systems designed to support weaving preparation and warp changes.

  • SAFIR PRO S37: An automatic drawing-in system designed for filament yarns and demanding weaving applications. Its yarn-handling and automation capabilities support preparation efficiency and consistency.

JIEDE Textile currently operates 430 Stäubli S3060 rotary dobbies. According to Stäubli, the equipment has helped the manufacturer improve production efficiency and stability, reduce downtime and fabric defects, and improve batch-to-batch consistency.

Ms. WANG Lihua, General Manager at JIEDE Textile, said:

Ms. WANG Lihua

“For us, Stäubli is more than an equipment supplier. It is a key technology partner. From solution design to ongoing service, they support us throughout the entire lifecycle.”

Technical Weaving for Advanced Applications

Demand from the aerospace, automotive, energy and industrial sectors is creating opportunities for advanced weaving technologies and high-performance composite materials.

Technical Weaving for Advanced Applications

Stäubli said it has more than a decade of experience in industrial 3D weaving. Building on this experience, the company has developed its TF platform as a modular and configurable weaving system that can be adapted to changing products, materials and applications.

At ITMA ASIA 2026, visitors will be able to view samples of technical fabrics produced on Stäubli TF machines, demonstrating applications for advanced woven structures.

Supporting the Asian Textile Industry

Stäubli’s exhibition will cover technologies ranging from weaving preparation and conventional fabric production to Jacquard weaving and technical textiles. The company also highlighted its local presence, technical expertise and service support throughout the equipment lifecycle as part of its approach to working with textile manufacturers across China and Asia.
