Strata Geosystems (India) Pvt. Ltd. has announced the acquisition of Venus Interlinings, an India-based producer of advanced non-woven geotextiles and technical textiles. The move marks Strata’s expansion into the non-woven geotextiles segment and adds manufacturing and technical capabilities to its operations.

Strata Geosystems (India) Pvt. Ltd. has completed a strategic acquisition of Venus Interlinings, strengthening its presence in the non-woven geotextiles segment. Both companies are headquartered in India.

Through this transaction, Strata broadens its product portfolio and enhances its vertically integrated structure. The acquisition includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and additional technical expertise, supporting further development in geosynthetic and engineered textile applications.

Venus Interlinings was established in 1995 by R.R. Taparia. The company has developed business relationships with major industry clients, government contractors and export houses.

The deal has been structured as a combination of cash and equity. Following the acquisition, Mr. Ravi Taparia will continue to head Venus Interlinings, ensuring continuity in leadership and operations.
