Standard Textile Co. Inc. announces $15 million investment in Union County facilities and 45 new jobs

Standard Textile Co. Inc., a global provider of end-to-end solutions for the institutional textile and apparel industries, said on June 15 that it will spend more than $15 million in its Union County facilities.

The investment is projected to result in the creation of 45 additional positions at the company's headquarters at 100 Highpoint Drive.

“We are very thrilled about the development of our Union, South Carolina facility,” Standard Textile Chief Operating and Finance Officer Bradley Fry said. “In addition to fulfilling rising demand, this expansion enables us to establish a cutting-edge fast prototyping facility for the creation of novel goods, as well as a showroom to showcase the company's innovation history and distinctive products. We are appreciative for our collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Union County, as well as their dedication to assisting creative firms to succeed in the region.”

Standard Textile anticipates that the expansion will be completed by October 2021.
