Speedo India Launches Athlete Advancement Program, Supports 12 Elite and Para Swimmers

Page Industries introduces structured initiative alongside Coach Connect Program to strengthen India’s competitive swimming ecosystem.

Page Industries Ltd., the exclusive licensee of Speedo International Ltd. in India, has announced the launch of its Athlete Advancement Program, a structured initiative designed to support competitive swimming in the country. The program currently includes 12 athletes, comprising elite swimmers and para-athletes, with a focus on developing an inclusive and future-ready swimming ecosystem.

The athlete roster features Olympian Sajan Prakash, along with elite swimmers Suhas Mylari, Harshita Jayaram, Nina Venkatesh, Shristy Upadhayay, Shoan Ganguly, Rishabh Das, Aditi Hegde, Bhavya Sachdeva, and Rujula S. Para-athletes Niranjan Mukundan and Suyash Jadhav are also part of the program.

The Athlete Advancement Program follows a structured, multi-tier framework that promotes performance, consistency and commitment, with the objective of supporting athletes competing at national and international levels.

According to the announcement, athletes from the Speedo India cohort delivered a strong performance at the 79th National Aquatic Championship held in Ahmedabad, securing 22 medals, including 11 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze. The athletes also set six new national records during the competition.

In addition to athlete support, Speedo India continues its Coach Connect Program, which works with more than 1,000 coaches annually across 250+ swimming pools in India. Coaches associated with the initiative include Nisha Millet, Kishore Shetty (GMAAA Mumbai), Hardik Patel (Karnavati Club Ahmedabad), Joshua Joseph (Head Coach & International Referee – MGMO Mumbai), and Sharath M Gayakwad (Zee Academy Bengaluru).

With a global legacy spanning seven decades, Speedo continues its involvement in competitive swimming through athlete development and coaching initiatives.
