Due to the lack of trade activity today, prices on the cotton yarn market in Tiruppur, a significant hosiery garment manufacturing hub in South India, remained stable. Buyers remained idle for new transactions, and merchants highlighted that the nation's garment manufacturing business has yet to pick up. Mumbai was shut down during this time for Holi. According to trade sources, Holi caused a decline in cotton yarn trade in the majority of states. While Holi festivities in south India were modest, north and central India's market were closed due to the festival. Finding new customers was a challenge for traders in South India, and the garment industry's slower buying contributed to the slowdown in trade. In the meantime, in GujaratDue to little arrival and little buying, cotton prices remained constant. Farmers did not bring their produce to the market, therefore there was very little cotton that did arrive. Prices for 356 kg of candy stayed the same, ranging from 62,500 to 63,000.
