SOKO Showcases Four Denim Finishing and Collaboration Projects at Kingpins Amsterdam 2026
The showcase features SOKO Shadow, Resoko Underglass and the NATURALLS collaboration, alongside the return of Catalyst Club – Chapter 02 on October 14.
SOKO will present its latest denim finishing developments at Kingpins Amsterdam on October 14–15, 2026, at the Yellow Area, Booth 2. The showcase focuses on four initiatives exploring colour effects, surface finishes, collaborative approaches to denim development and industry networking.
The projects combine finishing technologies and material experimentation to explore new possibilities in denim aesthetics and more responsible production approaches.
SOKO Shadow Explores Colour and Contrast
SOKO Shadow uses dye resistance and colour migration to create contrasting effects and vintage-inspired tones, highlighting areas such as seams and pockets without relying on harsh discharge chemicals.
For this edition, SOKO has combined the technique with laser and ozone technologies to develop additional visual depth and movement across the fabric.
Resoko Underglass Creates a Glass-Like Surface Effect
Resoko Underglass focuses on tactile and visual transformation through a transparent, glass-like shine applied to fabric. The resulting material is described as smooth and soft, with a leather-like feel.
The concept aims to give classic garments a contemporary surface treatment through an alternative approach to fabric finishing.
NATURALLS Brings Together Industry Partners
The NATURALLS project brings together Avalo, The LYCRA Company, Neela and SOKO, with creative direction from designer Gordon Muir of Labor Made Inc.
Drawing inspiration from workwear and the people involved in cultivating textile fibres, the collection explores next-generation denim using low-impact cotton, renewable fibres and SOKO's HYDROGEL and RARE finishing technologies.
The collaboration brings together materials and finishing approaches within a shared effort to explore more responsible denim development.
Catalyst Club – Chapter 02 Returns on October 14
SOKO will also mark the return of Catalyst Club – Chapter 02 on October 14, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with Kingpins Show as Event Partner.
The event is designed to bring creative professionals and industry experts together for dinner and face-to-face discussions in an informal setting. Its format emphasises direct interaction and the exchange of perspectives beyond conventional networking activities.
