SNA GZ Expands On-Demand Textile Production with Kornit Atlas MAX PLUS

French music merchandising specialist increases textile production capacity by 150% to support e-commerce fulfilment and print-on-demand growth across Europe

French music merchandising specialist SNA GZ has expanded its textile production capabilities with the installation of Kornit Atlas MAX PLUS technology, as demand for music merchandise, e-commerce fulfilment and print-on-demand production continues to increase across France and Europe.

The investment increases SNA GZ’s textile production capacity by 150% (2.5x), supporting the company’s continued business expansion and its on-demand production strategy.

SNA GZ Expands Beyond Vinyl

Kornit Digital (NASDAQ: KRNT), a global provider of sustainable, on-demand digital fashion and textile production technologies, announced the installation on September 29 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

SNA GZ, based in France, is part of GZ Media, the Czech-based company and the world’s leading manufacturer of vinyl records. The company has expanded its activities over the years to provide services across physical product manufacturing, merchandise production, on-demand textile printing, e-commerce logistics and fulfilment.

SNA GZ works with record labels, artists, brands and entertainment companies, managing their physical and e-commerce sales operations under one roof.

Digital Printing Supports Flexible Merchandise Production

The changing e-commerce landscape has increased the use of preorder campaigns, lean inventory models and on-demand production for artists, record labels and brands.

SNA GZ adopted digital textile printing as part of a more flexible production model, allowing it to respond to demand, streamline logistics and reduce excess inventory.

“We chose digital printing from the outset because it required less setup, eliminated minimum order quantities, and perfectly matched the evolving ecommerce and preorder models our customers were increasingly adopting,” said Clément Baumelou, Managing Director at SNA GZ.

“With Kornit, we're taking the next step. Beyond expanding our production capacity, this investment enables us to support the market's shift toward more agile, responsive, and on-demand business models. It fully aligns with our ambition to provide an integrated solution that combines manufacturing, merchandising, and ecommerce fulfillment.”

Integrated Pretreatment Among Selection Factors

SNA GZ identified Kornit’s integrated pretreatment process as one of the factors behind its selection of the technology. The process simplifies production workflows and reduces operational complexity.

The company also highlighted Kornit’s All-Inclusive Click (AIC) commercial model, which enables production to be scaled without significant upfront capital investments while providing greater predictability of production costs.

The Atlas MAX PLUS platform’s colour capabilities were another consideration. Its CMYK plus Red and Green ink capabilities provide a broader colour gamut, allowing SNA GZ to move selected productions from traditional screen-printing workflows to digital production.

Future Expansion into Polyester Applications

Future production requirements also influenced the investment decision. SNA GZ expects to upgrade to Kornit Atlas MATRIX technology in the future, with the aim of expanding its production capabilities into polyester applications.

These potential applications include music merchandising, jerseys and additional textile market opportunities.

“SNA GZ demonstrates how modern merchandise producers are combining digital production, fulfillment, and ecommerce logistics to create highly agile customer-focused manufacturing environments,” said Guy Yaniv, President Kornit Digital Europe.

“Their innovative approach reflects the growing convergence of entertainment commerce, print-on-demand production, and digital textile manufacturing.”
