SITEX 2026 Draws 26,000 Visitors; ₹1,500 Crore in Deals Expected

The SITEX – Surat International Textile Expo 2026 concluded on Monday at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana. Organised by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), the three-day event was held from February 21 to 23 and focused on textile machinery and technology. The exhibition recorded more than 26,000 buyers and visitors.
The SITEX – Surat International Textile Expo 2026 concluded on Monday at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana. The three-day exhibition, conducted from February 21 to 23 and organised by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), featured a wide range of textile machinery and technology solutions.
According to the organisers, the expo attracted over 26,000 buyers and visitors. Based on business interactions during the event, exhibitors are expected to receive orders valued at more than Rs. 1500 crore over the next three to four months.
SGCCI President Shri Nikhil Madrasi said that the response from exhibitors had been encouraging and that SITEX 2026 had proved to be a “super hit”. He stated that exhibitors showcased their latest machinery, and one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and buyers resulted in several new business inquiries as well as on-spot orders.
A key highlight of the exhibition was the global launch of the ‘Four-blade High-Speed Rapier Jacquard Machine’. Other major attractions included high-speed airjet machines, new position printer machinery, position embroidery machinery, and circular knitting machines.
