Ethnic wear brand to scale large-format retail and expand product categories across India and global markets

SHREE has outlined plans to increase its revenue to ₹900 crore by 2030 from the current ₹150 crore. The growth strategy includes expanding its retail network to over 300 stores and adopting larger store formats.

SHREE, an ethnic wear brand founded in 2009, has announced plans to scale its revenue to ₹900 crore by 2030 from the current ₹150 crore. The company aims to achieve this through a significant expansion of its retail network to over 300 stores over the next three years, along with a shift toward large-format retail outlets.

As part of its expansion strategy, SHREE will focus on establishing stores ranging between 3,000–5,000 sq. ft. across metro cities and high-growth markets. These stores are intended to accommodate a broader product range and support increased customer engagement and transaction values.

The company currently operates 130 exclusive brand outlets and maintains a presence across online marketplaces as part of its omni-channel approach. Its planned expansion will cover Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III markets, targeting demand for ethnic wear among working professionals and aspirational consumers.

"Our vision is to build SHREE into a ₹ 900 crore brand by 2030, driven by scale, experience, and product expansion. The move towards large-format stores will allow us to present a complete lifestyle offering, while expanding to over 300 stores will significantly strengthen our market reach. With the addition of sarees and growth in men’s ethnic wear, we are evolving into a comprehensive ethnic fashion destination," said Mr. Sandeep Kapoor, Managing Director, SHREE.

The company is also focusing on expanding its product categories, including entry into the saree segment and further development of its men’s ethnic wear line, which was introduced in 2025. The larger retail formats are expected to support these additional categories.

In international markets, SHREE has established a presence in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyad and Sharjha, catering to demand for Indian ethnic wear. The brand continues to expand its reach in these regions.

SHREE operates an in-house design ecosystem with dedicated studios and design teams. The company develops 10–12 new designs daily, maintaining regular updates to its collections while incorporating traditional fabrics and styles. Its offerings are positioned for working women, including professionals, teachers, and entrepreneurs, seeking apparel for office, social, and festive use.

The company’s growth strategy is focused on retail expansion, product diversification, and design-led development within the ethnic wear segment.
