Shree Karni Fabcom Partners with Italian Textile Group for Technical Knitted Fabrics

Shree Karni Fabcom Limited has announced a collaboration with an Italian manufacturer of technical knitted fabrics as part of its strategy to strengthen its position in India’s premium apparel and performance textile market.

According to a company release submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India, the partnership is expected to support opportunities in the swimwear, beach wear, sportstech, and activewear segments by introducing premium technical knitted fabrics to the Indian market.

Under the agreement, Shree Karni Fabcom Limited has received exclusive rights to promote the Italian manufacturer’s brand and manage sales of its technical knitted fabrics in India. The collaboration aims to address increasing demand from Indian apparel brands for stretch fabrics and technically advanced textile materials.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The name of the Italian company was not disclosed.

According to the release, the Italian manufacturing partner was founded in 1962 and is recognised as a producer of stretch-resistant knitted fabrics. The group operates manufacturing facilities across Italy, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the United States, along with a production facility in Ethiopia integrated into its international supply chain.

The company produces more than 35 million metres of warp-knit and circular-knit stretch fabrics annually for export markets across Europe, America, and Asia.

Its product portfolio includes fabrics for beachwear, Competition Swimwear, Technical & Sports, Fitness, Apparel, Lingerie, Footwear, and Furnishing applications.

The release stated that the group’s global customer base includes brands such as Adidas, Nike, Speedo, Lululemon, Calvin Klein, H&M, La Perla, Arena, Decathlon, and Puma.
