RE&UP, a circulartech leader reshaping sustainable textiles, recently participated in two major industry gatherings — the Global Fashion Summit and the Textiles Recycling Expo — to showcase its commitment to innovation, accountability, and circular transformation in the textile value chain.

At the Global Fashion Summit, RE&UP’s General Manager Andreas Dorner took the stage during the "Fibre Futures" panel to spotlight RE&UP’s leadership in polycotton innovation. “When it comes to polycotton, RE&UP is the go-to solution provider,” Dorner emphasized, aligning the brand’s forward-looking strategy with industry needs for scalable material innovation.

Further strengthening RE&UP’s influence, Chief Sustainability Officer Ebru Özküçük Guler moderated the “What is Next-Gen?” session, featuring Riyong Kim (European Environment Agency) and Katrin Ley (Fashion for Good). She noted, “The shift to next gen materials isn’t just about innovation, it’s about building the systems to scale them responsibly.”

Simultaneously, at the Textiles Recycling Expo in Brussels, Marco Lucietti, Head of Global Marketing and Communications at RE&UP, shared insights during the panel “Scaling Recycled Content: Turning Ambition into Industry Reality.” The discussion explored pathways for scaling circular models through infrastructure, investment, and transparent policy frameworks. “The energy was high and the message was clear: it’s time to turn circularity from a commitment into a capability,” Lucietti stated.

RE&UP’s participation across both events signals its growing role in shaping the global sustainability dialogue — from navigating complex blends like polycotton to turning recycled content ambitions into industry-wide practices.

As a trailblazer in Next-Gen Cotton and Polyester solutions that match virgin fiber performance, RE&UP continues to push boundaries in textile circularity, grounded in the century-old innovation heritage of SANKO. With a focus on scale and systems, RE&UP is helping redefine the future of sustainable fashion and textiles.
