SDC EC India Announces New Office Bearers for 2025–2027

SDC EC India appoints a new leadership team to steer its next phase of educational and sustainability initiatives.
Following its AGM and Trustees Board Meeting, the Society of Dyers and Colourists Education Charity (India) has named its office bearers for 2025–2027, setting the stage for strengthened efforts in colour science, innovation, and textile dyeing education.
The Society of Dyers and Colourists Education Charity (India) has announced a new leadership lineup for the 2025–2027 term, following its 19th Annual General Body Meeting held on 25 October 2025 and the Trustees Board Meeting conducted on 24 November 2025. The refreshed team will steer the organisation’s efforts to promote excellence in colour science, textile dyeing education, sustainability, and industry innovation.
At the Trustees Board Meeting, Mr. Sandeep Singh was elected as the Hon. Chairman, taking charge of guiding strategic programmes and collaborative initiatives across academia and industry. In his role, he will lead professional development efforts and oversee SDC’s events and CSR activities, strengthening the Society’s engagement nationwide.
Joining him in the executive team is Dr. Mrinal Choudhary, appointed as Hon. Secretary for the 2025–2027 term. Dr. Choudhary will be responsible for governance, communication, and coordination of the Society’s educational and professional activities.
Continuing her tenure as Hon. Treasurer, Dr. Pratima Goyal will manage financial oversight and ensure transparency across all accounts and CSR-related commitments.
The Society also confirmed the following Trustee Members for the term:
Mr. Anjani Prasad, Dr. Suman Mundkur, Mr. Shirpad Kher, Mr. Jayant Khera, Mr. Deepak Karade, Mr. Vignesh Amalraj, Dr. Nandan Mahapatra, Ms. Bhamini Subramaniam, and Dr. Ruma Chakrabarti.
Reflecting on the new term, Chairman Mr. Sandeep Singh said:
