Savio to Present Advanced Winding and Spinning Technologies at ITM Istanbul 2026

Proxima Smartconer®, Lybra Smartspinner® and Phoenix Assembly Winder to highlight automation, connectivity and production efficiency
Savio Macchine Tessili will participate in ITM Istanbul 2026 within the corporate booth of Vandewiele Group, where the company will showcase a range of winding and spinning technologies for textile manufacturing applications. The exhibition will feature three key systems: Proxima Smartconer®, Lybra Smartspinner®, and the Phoenix Assembly Winder.
The company stated that the showcased technologies are designed to support textile mills in improving efficiency, operational flexibility, and yarn quality.

Proxima Smartconer® to Feature Smart Winding Technology
Proxima Smartconer® is Savio’s winding platform developed for productivity, energy efficiency, and yarn quality applications. The system is available in multiple configurations, including fully automatic, manual feeding, cone-to-cone, Duo Lot, and large bobbin feeding versions for the carded wool sector.
The platform incorporates energy-saving functions, optimized bobbin flow management, and AI-powered capabilities. It is supported by Savio Insight, a web-based platform designed for remote setup, production monitoring, data tracking, and real-time performance analysis.
Phoenix Assembly Winder to Showcase Enhanced Digital Features
Savio will also present the Phoenix Assembly Winder, which returns with updated digital functionalities. According to the company, the system supports yarn take-up speeds of up to 1000 m/min and is suitable for discontinuous fiber yarns ranging from Ne 1 to Ne 140.
The machine includes the Savio Multicone digital thread guide, developed to reduce setup time and optimize package formation for downstream Two-for-One twisting processes.
Lybra Smartspinner® to Demonstrate Air-Jet Spinning Capabilities
Lybra Smartspinner® is Savio’s air-jet spinning system developed for knitting, home textiles, and sunshade applications. One of the machine’s features is the Multi Blend System, which enables two slivers to be fed directly into the spinning chamber.
According to the company, the system allows real-time blend adjustments, supports material and color blend production including mélange effects, and can reduce preparation line costs while supporting higher production rates.
Savio stated that its participation at ITM Istanbul 2026 will provide customers and industry partners with an opportunity to review technologies focused on modern textile production processes and manufacturing efficiency.
