Saurer to Showcase TechnoCorder TC2plus for Technical Yarns at Techtextil 2026

Saurer will present its TechnoCorder TC2plus at Techtextil in Frankfurt from April 21 to 24, 2026. The company will demonstrate the system at Booth B56 in Hall 12, focusing on applications for technical yarns and production efficiency.
When the international textile sector meets at Techtextil in Frankfurt from April 21 to 24, Saurer will introduce its TechnoCorder TC2plus as a solution for increasing requirements in technical yarn production. The company will use its stand in Hall 12, Booth B56, to illustrate how twisting and cabling technology can support new market opportunities while improving production processes.
The TechnoCorder TC2plus is designed for flexible processing and supports a range of yarn structures and material types. It can handle fine and coarse yarns, as well as low and high twist levels, while maintaining process stability and consistent yarn quality.
A key feature of the system is FlexiPly technology, which enables the combination of different yarn types and counts during processing. This allows the manufacture of hybrid yarns tailored to specific end-use requirements. Such yarns are intended for applications including mechanical rubber goods, tyre reinforcements, and smart textiles.
For applications requiring high material protection and stable processing conditions, the TC2plus is equipped with a fine-count spindle developed for yarns starting at 110 dtex. This configuration is suited for use in medical textiles, protective clothing, and lightweight technical fabrics, where controlled handling and quality consistency are required.
The system also supports production in the artificial turf segment. Its integrated cabling function enables the blending of various polyethylene monofilaments into structured yarn constructions that reproduce light and shadow effects associated with natural surfaces, while maintaining production efficiency.
In terms of process control, the TC2plus offers options for random and precision winding to match downstream operations. An integrated setup assistant supports operators in defining package configurations, helping to reduce changeover times and increase machine availability.
According to the company, the TechnoCorder TC2plus reflects its ongoing focus on providing technical textile producers with equipment designed for performance, flexibility, and economic operation.
