Saurer to Showcase Flexible Spinning Technologies at ITM 2026

Company to present solutions across spinning systems, automation, and digitalisation in Istanbul
Saurer will present its latest spinning technologies at ITM 2026, taking place in Istanbul. The company will exhibit its solutions focused on flexibility in textile production at Hall 7, Booth 709 A.
The textile sector is currently facing challenges including geopolitical tensions, natural disasters, and pandemics, which are influencing market conditions. At ITM 2026, Saurer will present machine technologies designed to support flexible production processes from bale to yarn.
Saurer’s machinery portfolio follows the E³ concept, focusing on energy efficiency, economic performance, and ergonomics. The company offers five end-spinning systems: ring spinning (Zinser 51), compact spinning (Zinser 51 Zpact FX), worsted spinning (Zinser 451), air spinning (Autoairo), and rotor spinning (Autocoro 11 and BD 8). These systems are designed to support different production requirements.

Saurer pre-spinning with Autocard SC8
The machines are capable of processing a wide range of fibres, including cotton, wool, synthetic fibres, high-performance materials such as aramid, and recycled or regenerated fibres.
In pre-spinning, Saurer provides multiple configurations for different production needs. These include combinations of opening and carding systems supported by digital control. At ITM 2026, the company will present the Autocard SC8, a card with a carding area of 4.8 m², a width of 1.38 m, and a cylinder diameter of 1.46 m. The design includes positioning of licker-in and doffer elements to extend the carding section and support processing of various fibre types, including recycled fibres.

Zinser 51 Zpact FX compact spinning machine
The Zinser 51 ring frame, with up to 2,200 spindles, is designed for a range of yarn counts and is already in operation in Türkiye. The Zinser 51 Zpact FX compact system allows switching between compact and conventional spinning, supporting multiple yarn types such as siro and core yarns, including low-twist yarns at high speeds.

Autocoro 11 with Duo Sliver Feeding
The Autocoro 11 rotor spinning machine includes a duo sliver feeding system, enabling blending of two slivers using adjustable opening rollers. This supports the production of mélange yarns in smaller batches.

The Multilot function allows multiple lots to be processed simultaneously on rotor spinning (Autocoro 11 and BD 8), air spinning (Autoairo), and twisting (TC2) systems. Short setup times support frequent product changes. The Fancynation software enables production of various fancy yarns on ring and rotor spinning machines.
Saurer will also present components from its Texparts product line, including the PK 2630 weighting arm series compatible with different support rod types. The portfolio includes high-speed spindles such as the Eshape spindle with the Spinnfinity Zero underwinding system, along with high-speed rings.
Digital solutions include the Senses Mill system for real-time monitoring and production control. Automation features integrated into Saurer machines include doffing systems and external solutions such as the Bobbin Transport System (BTS), AGVs, and cobots. The Hunter S1 can-transport AGV is designed for transporting sliver cans within spinning mills.
