Saurer Showcases Future-Ready Yarn Solutions at ITMA Asia 2025

Saurer is preparing to showcase its latest innovations at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore, located at booth C301 in Hall 3. The company will present advanced spinning, twisting, and automation solutions that highlight its dedication to efficiency, sustainability, and digitalisation—paving the way for the yarns of the future.
Exhibition highlights will include the Autocard SC8 with Autocoil 3 featuring the PDS Pre-Draft System and rectangular cans, the Hunter S1 can-transport AGV, the Zinser 51 ring-spinning machine with the new Zpact FX compact system, the Autocoro 11 rotor spinning station with Duo Sliver Feeding, and the CompactTwister.
Recognising that yarn forms the foundation of fashion and interior design—with qualities like structure, stretch, or hairiness often defined during spinning and twisting—Saurer’s advanced machinery and automation solutions are designed to help textile producers optimise processes, remain agile, and conserve resources. Visitors to the booth will have the chance to explore the latest innovations, interact with experts, and discover how Saurer is shaping textile manufacturing.
“Our guiding principle is ‘Leading technology for the yarns of tomorrow.’ This inspires us to create innovative solutions for spinning and twisting mills worldwide. We look forward to demonstrating in Singapore how Saurer’s advanced technologies enable textile manufacturers to stay competitive in an ever-changing global market,” stated Hailin Xu, CEO of Saurer.
Spinning Preparation – Building Quality from the Start Saurer will debut the high-performance Autocard SC8, engineered for superior sliver quality, higher productivity, and optimized energy use. Featuring a 4.8 m² carding area with a 1.38 m width and 1.46 m cylinder diameter, its refined design extends carding length and boosts efficiency.
The Autocoil 3, paired with the PDS pre-draft system and rectangular cans, allows slivers to be fed directly into rotor spinning machines, enabling an ultra-short process. Compared with round cans, rectangular cans hold more slivers, reducing can changes. This system improves yarn quality, energy efficiency, and pre-spinning performance.
The Hunter S1 can-transport AGV enhances material handling with its “lift-and-transport” design, which prevents wheel jams and ensures reliability. Integrated with the Saurer Senses Mill management system, it unites automation with digitalisation for seamless operations.
Spinning with Endless Possibilities The Zinser 51 ring spinning machine, equipped with 2056 spindles and the Zpact FX compact device, combines high speed with perfect fibre control, ensuring consistent quality, productivity, and energy savings.
At ITMA Asia, the Autocoro 11 rotor spinning station will showcase its Duo Sliver Feeding concept, which allows blending two slivers in 1% increments directly in the spinning box. This opens new opportunities in mélange and blended yarns, enabling small-batch, cost-effective coloured yarn production with reproducible results.
Saurer will also display the Autoairo air spinning station with various fibre blends, and the BD 8 rotor spinning machine with up to 1200 positions, an energy-saving Twinsuction system, and an automatic doffer. Texparts components for ring and rotor spinning will also be featured.
Twisting – Innovation for Stronger Yarns With the rising demand for recycled yarns requiring greater strength, Saurer’s CompactTwister sets new benchmarks in yarn quality, flexibility, energy efficiency, and space savings. It offers solutions for twisting and cabling across tire cord, carpet, staple fibre, glass filament, and industrial yarns.
Designed to meet the growing market for recycled and regenerated yarns, Saurer’s equipment ensures high productivity while providing solutions from bale to yarn, capable of processing even the shortest recycled fibres.
Visitors are invited to discover these innovations at booth C301, Hall 3 in Singapore.
