Santosh Katariya Re-Elected CMAI President for Second Consecutive Term

CMAI’s core leadership team also retains its positions, with focus continuing on apparel industry competitiveness and MSMEs

Santosh Katariya has been re-elected as President of the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) for a second consecutive term. The association’s core leadership team has also been re-elected to their respective positions.

The continuation of the leadership team follows a renewed mandate from CMAI members and will allow the association to build on its initiatives and industry engagement from the previous two years.

Katariya Begins Second Term

Following his re-election, Santosh Katariya thanked CMAI’s office bearers and managing committee for their continued confidence.

He said, “The past two years have been an enriching journey of new initiatives, learning, teamwork and progress. As we begin a new term, I, along with my entire team, look forward to working with renewed energy and commitment to take CMAI to new heights and deliver greater value to our members and the Indian apparel industry.”

Katariya said the new term will place greater focus on strengthening the competitiveness of India's apparel ecosystem.

Core Leadership Team Retained

CMAI’s core leadership team has also retained its positions, providing continuity across areas including trade initiatives, government engagement, member services and administration.

The leadership team includes:

  • Rohit Munjal – Vice President & Chairman, Fair Sub Committee
  • Ankur Gadia – Vice President & Chairman, Government Subsidy & CSR Sub Committee
  • Naveen Sainani – Hon. Gen. Secretary
  • Mukesh Jain – Hon. Jt. Gen. Secretary
  • Paresh Vora – Hon. Treasurer
  • Dinesh Nandu – Hon. Jt. Treasurer

The administrative and financial functions will continue to be managed by the respective office bearers.

Continued Focus on Apparel MSMEs

According to CMAI, retaining the core leadership team is expected to support continuity in the association’s ongoing activities.

The association will continue to focus on the changing requirements of the apparel industry, with particular attention to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
