RSWM partners with Adani Energy Solutions to source 70% of its power from renewables.

In a significant sustainability initiative, RSWM Ltd has teamed up with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd to procure 60 MW of renewable energy, elevating its green power share to 70% across its manufacturing units.

RSWM Ltd, a leading textile manufacturer and flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has entered into an agreement with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) for the supply of 60 MW of renewable energy — a significant step in RSWM’s sustainability journey.

Under this agreement, AESL will oversee the complete green energy value chain to fulfill RSWM’s additional power requirements. RSWM has invested ₹60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme with a renewable energy generator to secure 31.53 crore units of green power annually for its various manufacturing plants across Rajasthan. This move will increase RSWM’s renewable energy contribution from 33% to 70% of its total power consumption, bringing the company closer to its clean energy goals.

“This achievement underscores our long-term vision to align growth with sustainability and strengthen our role as a forward-thinking industry leader. By sourcing 70% of our energy from renewable sources—significantly higher than India’s national clean energy mix average of 31%—RSWM is setting new benchmarks for responsible energy transition,” stated Mr. Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director, and CEO of RSWM Ltd.

Mr. Kandarp Patel, CEO of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd., added, “We are pleased to partner with RSWM in this landmark initiative that highlights how sustainability is becoming central to industrial growth. This collaboration exemplifies the scalability and effectiveness of renewable energy in driving industrial progress while ensuring environmental responsibility. As a leading energy solutions provider to the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector, we take pride in facilitating the decarbonization journey of industries through our innovative clean energy offerings.”

Mr. Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director of RSWM Ltd., further emphasized, “Our ₹60 crore equity investment represents a pivotal moment in our sustainability roadmap, aligned with global clean energy goals. By adopting hybrid power solutions, RSWM is not only minimizing its carbon emissions but also securing long-term energy resilience and operational efficiency.”

RSWM’s consistent efforts to integrate sustainability across operations—through renewable energy adoption, circular material usage, and efficient water management—have established it as a forward-looking textile leader contributing to a regenerative and resilient industrial ecosystem.

AESL’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) vertical delivers tailored, reliable, and competitively priced energy solutions to bulk electricity users. With a focus on supporting both operational and environmental objectives, AESL plans to expand its C&I portfolio to 7,000 MW over the next five years.
