ROICA™ by Asahi Kasei will present a range of textile developments at Performance Days 2026 in Munich. Located at Hall C2, Booth R19, the booth will feature collaborations with European partners and two Japanese textile specialists. The exhibition will highlight fabric innovations focused on stretch performance for sportswear, activewear, and lifestyle applications.

The exhibition will feature developments based on warp-knit structures, engineered materials, and other textile constructions designed for functional applications. The booth will also present a selection of fabrics that demonstrate different approaches to elastic functionality and fabric design across regions.

Among the participating partners is Brugnoli, located at Hall C1 – Booth D07. The company will present several fabric developments for ready-to-wear and sportswear applications. One of the highlighted materials is Explosive Cotton Plus, created using Brugnoli’s Explosive Technology, which introduces elasticity, muscle support, and comfort into cotton fabrics. Another development, Explosive Micromodal, combines the same technology with TENCEL™ Modal to provide a soft texture and moisture management. Some of these fabrics include ROICA™ fibers such as ROICA™ V550. The fabrics are manufactured in Italy.

Cifra, exhibiting at Hall C2 – Booth Q03, will showcase knitting technologies designed to increase material efficiency and reduce waste. In collaboration with Wolford, the company will present athleisure garments made with ECONYL® and ROICA™ V550. These pieces are developed using engineered warp knitting to support stretch, comfort, and garment design flexibility.

Inplet Pletiva, based in Slovenia and not exhibiting at Performance Days for this edition, will present knitted fabrics including Powernet, Tricot, and Tulle constructions. These fabrics incorporate ROICA™ fibers and are produced using blends of polyamide, polyester, recycled fibers, cotton, and bamboo. The materials are certified under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and GRS.

Inter Jersey Milano, located at Hall C1 – Booth J04, will introduce the Active fabric collection for sportswear applications. The fabrics integrate ROICA™ SP, a chlorine-resistant stretch fiber, to provide elastic recovery and support. The constructions are engineered for performance requirements including training and swimming. All fabrics in the collection are finished with Revecol® MS treatments designed to support moisture management through lower-impact processing methods.

Lauma, which is not exhibiting at Performance Days for this edition, will present a range of elastic fabrics for sportswear, loungewear, lingerie, and technical applications. Some fabrics incorporate ROICA™ V550 and include compression-oriented weftloc fabrics, lightweight jacquards, and interlock constructions made from polyamide, TENCEL™, and pre-consumer recycled fibers.

Penn Solutions, located at Hall C1 – Booth C06, will present textile developments based on tricot and lace constructions for sportswear, cycling, and intimate apparel. The fabrics incorporate ROICA™ V550 to support elastic recovery and shaping performance. Design features include 3D surface effects, mesh zones, and non-slip surfaces.

Sitip, exhibiting at Hall C1 – Booth E14-15, will display a textile collection developed using ROICA™ premium stretch fiber. The fabrics include lightweight warp knits and brushed thermal materials designed for sportswear and activewear applications. These textiles use ROICA™ V550 and ROICA™ EF fibers and are produced in Italy.

Tiba Tricot, located at Hall C1 – Booth G20, will present circular and warp-knitted fabrics for sportswear, activewear, and technical applications. Based in Castellanza, Italy, the company develops circular knit fabrics and three-dimensional warp-knit structures. The materials incorporate ROICA™ stretch fibers to support elasticity, stability, and comfort in circular-knit and 3D warp-knit constructions.

The ROICA™ booth will also introduce two Japanese textile manufacturers presenting their materials exclusively within the exhibition space.

Imai Kigyojo, a warp-knitting company based in Nanto City, Japan, will present textile developments using complex multi-bar knitting techniques. The fabrics include lightweight open constructions, textured surfaces, and bonded materials designed to support breathability, moisture management, and comfort. These fabrics incorporate ROICA™ premium stretch fiber to enable stretch performance and adaptive fit.

Kawada Knitting Group, a tricot manufacturer based in Johana, Nanto City, will display lightweight tricot fabrics used in sportswear, swimwear, innerwear, and uniforms. The materials incorporate ROICA™ stretch fiber and include functional features such as quick-dry performance, UV protection, and shape stability. The booth will also present tricot fabrics used in the KAIHŌ Suit concept, which combines mobility and comfort with a tailored appearance.

Through the participation of partners from Europe and Japan, the ROICA™ booth will present different approaches to textile design and stretch functionality. Performance Days 2026 provides an opportunity to view these materials and fabric constructions in a single exhibition space.
