Global political and economic developments have contributed to continued increases in raw material and energy prices, affecting multiple industries, including textile machinery manufacturing. Rieter stated that its machines and components rely heavily on steel, copper, aluminium and electronics, materials that have experienced stronger demand and higher prices in recent months.

The company noted that it has so far absorbed the additional cost burden without transferring it to customers. However, as the upward price trend is expected to persist over the long term, Rieter will implement price adjustments for its products and systems starting in March 2026.

The decision is intended to address the impact of rising material costs worldwide on production and supply.
