Company highlights commercial-scale recycling capabilities for cotton, polyester and polycotton blends during the Brussels event.

RE&UP participated in the Textiles Recycling Expo in Brussels, using the event to showcase its textile-to-textile recycling technologies for cotton, polyester and polycotton blends.

The company demonstrated its proprietary recycling processes, including decolorization and material separation technologies, which it said are designed to produce Next-Gen cotton fibers and polyester chips from end-of-life textile waste.

According to RE&UP, the technologies are being deployed through its industrial recycling hubs and are intended to support large-scale textile recycling operations.

During the event, Marco Lucietti, Head of Global Marketing&Communications of RE&UP, said:

“True textile circularity is no longer a distant goal or a concept confined to limited testing phases. Our presence at the Textiles Recycling Expo highlights how breakthrough technology can seamlessly bridge the gap between high-volume recycling and premium production, with no compromise on performance and environmental transparency.”

The Textiles Recycling Expo brought together participants from Europe's textile circularity ecosystem, providing a platform for companies to present developments in recycling technologies and circular material solutions.
